This newer, upgraded model of the Genesis SX-335 Smart Gas Grill offers a solid build, large side shelves, plenty of storage space, and a warming rack.
The grill is easy to ignite with a one-touch button. It has three powerful burners and a large sear zone, making it great for feeding a crowd.
The large side shelves provide ample space to hold tools and a cutting board. The right side is designed so Weber Works accessories can pop into the shelf, such as a grill caddy, condiment holder, marinating tray, or cutting board.
During testing, the grill heated quite evenly, though the center showed slightly more power than the edges. Steak and chicken cooked very quickly with almost no flare-ups. The steak had nice, pronounced grill marks, and the chicken got a good amount of char.
This grill also performs well for vegetables — peppers cooked in a grill basket became perfectly charred and sweet in very little time.
After use, the grease collector and drip tray pull out for easy cleaning. The propane tank is conveniently located at the front of the grill, and four wheels make the unit easy to maneuver. The included thermometer connects to an app to monitor your cook from afar.
